A show celebrating the music of the 80’s from Jamaica. Jamaican music in the 1980s were dominated by the Dancehall where competitions between sound systems were held. The decade also featured legendary vocalists such as Barrington Levy, Half Pint, Cornell Campbell, and Frankie Paul. The 80’s saw the dawn of digital reggae with electronically produced beats and the crooning of Lovers rock by artists like the cool ruler Greggory Isaacs.
