One of the many great musical exports of the island of Jamaica was the invention of Dub. A musical style featuring the drum and bass tracks of studio recordings and made the producer the leader of the band. The producer would use the drum and bass tracks a foundation and then manipulate the previously recorded horn, piano, guitar, and vocal tracks fading them in and out an adding affects such as an echo. Dub has since infected nearly every musical corner of our world being integrated into other cultures and producing new music never envisioned by these Jamaican producers.
